SkiHire2U offers full ski and snowboard servicing. Our workshop with the latest Wintersteiger equipment, including a diamond edge tuner, means we're able to service your skis or snowboard in the way that you want. From a basic wax and edge tune to the most severe damage, if a ski or snowboard can be repaired then we have all the equipment to make sure your equipment performs like the day you first used it.
we'll collect your skis and snowboards and deliver them back to you
Remember we are a mobile service so we'll come and collect your skis and snowboards at no extra cost from where your are staying. And as long as you call us before 18:00 we'll have your equipment back to you before you hit the slopes the next day.

The type of skiing or riding you want to do and your level of ability will determine how your equipment should be prepared and this can make the difference between you achieving that next level or simply enjoying your first few days on the slopes without constantly falling over because your skis are not tuned correctly. Of course, we can’t guarantee your progress but we'll do all we can to make sure your equipment doesn’t hinder you from getting better..
types of service we offer
So when you call us to book a service we'll discuss your individual requirements and make certain our service meets your needs. And we'll take the time and care to make sure your equipment is returned to you as you would expect.
We offer 3 types of standard servicing depending on the work required:
BRONZE - €15*
Basic service / tune-up
Base grind, hot rolled wax, polish and edge tune.
Ideal if there is little damage to the underside of your skis / snowboard and just need a tune up to make sure you continue to get the best performance on the slopes.
SILVER - €25*
Intermediate service
Filling of base with high temperature polyethylene filler, hand plane, base grind, hot rolled wax, polish and edge tune.
This service is for you if you have some damage to the base and / or edges that need preparing and filling.
GOLD - €35*
Full service
Complete service, full wax removal, complete base fill of all ruts, scratches and marks, hand plane, base grind, hot rolled wax, polish and edge tune with hand finish. We'll also clean and trim the top surface where possible
This service brings your skis / snowboard to top condition making sure you get the most from the equipment while on the slopes, park or back country.

and, just when you thought the damage was beyond repair...
It happens to the best of us. We see that bit of powder that looks perfect and set off across it only to feel that crunch and grind from the rock hidden below on the bottom of our skis / board. On further inspection the damage looks terminal. Well don’t worry, we know how that feels and you'll be surprised by what we can do to repair your skis / snowboard. Give us call and we'll discuss with you what can be done as we have the ability to cut out and replace damaged bases even if the damage exposes the laminate below.
