Individual and personalised ski and boot fitting in your accommodation

with every booking we come to your accommodation, personally fit your boot to your feet to ensure it is correct and make any alterations as necessary as well checking stance, weight distribution and forward lean.  The skis are then fitted to the skis in accordance with your level and ability, including the type of skiing you will be doing.  Customers with special requests are also taken into consideration to ensure the boot and ski matches exactly to your requirements.  We are fully trained advanced ski and boot technicians and david is also a level 2 ski instructor so we know how to ensure you get the very best.

Our service

Should at any time during the week you need us to make some adjustments or even if you would like to try a different pair of skis or boots, (perhaps Chatel has just had one of their big snow dumps and some serious off piste is on the cards with our Storm Skis) contact us before 18:00 and we will come back and sort everything out for your that evening – all at no extra charge, no matter how many times…..it’s all part of our service.  When all the other ski hire shops have closed we continue to work as long as it takes to ensure all our customers needs have been taken care of.

Wether you are just beginning your ski adventure or are a seasoned professional we have skis that will allow you to get the best from your ski holiday at a price that suits you.  We promise not to use old and outdated skis and we promise every ski is fully inspected and serviced after every use

A word on boot fitting

Getting the right boot and size for you is not as simple as just telling someone your shoe size, problems with incorrect or poorly fitting boots will ruin your holiday.  At SkiHire2U our knowledge and experience in boot fitting sets us apart from the rest, we can often diagnose the root cause of problem feet and it is often not the most obvious thing, most ski hire shops will simply change the boot – more often for a bigger size, but this is not always the right solution and can often make the problem worse or at the very least inhibit ski development.  We won’t do that we wi spend time with you to understand what is the real cause of the problem and give you some stand advice on how to cure it, if the boot needs changing then we will of course do that but if other solutions are a better option then we will take the time with you to help you with your skiing and comfort – it’s all part of our service!

We gave up our ‘real’ jobs in 2010 and decided to move to Chatel and create SkiHire2U the first mobile ski hire service in Chatel.  As avid winter sports enthusiasts for the last 20 years we’ve experienced all the frustrations and hassle of having just arrived in the resort, going to the local ski shop, waiting in a queue and if we were really lucky getting decent rental equipment but generally not much in the way of friendly customer service or high quality ski and snowboard hire equipment.

Holidaymakers deserve better and that’s why we created SkiHire2U.

During the summer we run Gozo’s most caring Dive Centre based on the same high levels of customer service and quality with a focus on low impact diving and caring for the marine environment.

It has been a huge change for us but we love what we do that’s why we can offer the very best in Ski Hire service.
