What is Marmerlarde? Well apart from being the name of our chalet it's also the name of our company which includes SkiHire2U, Bubbles Dive Centre, located in Gozo, Malta and our persuasive communication business...so if you want any help with marketing just give us a call or send us an email.

I spent years in marketing, sales analysis and bid management and eventually got fed up with corporate life. We decided we'd much rather work hard for ourselves in a beautiful part of the world - and so we came to Châtel.

Every winter my snowboard and I can be seen attempting to do a jump or two, or just trying to keep up with David on and off-piste. The best bit though is stopping for a vin chaud on a snowy day or soaking up the sun in a deck chair on one of those picture perfect days on the slopes.

From the Royal Navy to production management, from the Cabinet Office to operations director, I've had various jobs over the years. But, given the chance to live and work in the Alps - there was no going back!

You'll see me on my snowboard from day 1 of the season to the last day the slopes are open. Sometimes I'll be at the Avoriaz park attempting to keep up with all those young 'dudes' on the jumps and half pipe, or i'll be trekking miles to find that perfect bit of off-piste powder. You're more than welcome to come and join me if you fancy it.
